Pavol Piešťanský
Founder of LOGIEE & Executive Director
Pavol Piešťanský is a university-educated logistics professional and transport executive with extensive experience across logistics, road transport and supply chain management.
As General Director of Yellow Express, he combines strategic management with hands-on experience from real transport and logistics operations. He previously served as President of ČESMAD Slovakia, where he represented the road transport sector and was actively involved in discussions on regulation, competitiveness and the future of European transport.
He is also involved in TrucksOnTheMap, a digital logistics platform focused on smarter transport planning, optimization, digital dispatching and cooperation between transport companies.
His professional interests increasingly connect traditional logistics with digitalization, artificial intelligence, autonomous mobility, alternative fuels and emerging transport technologies.
LOGIEE reflects this combination of experience and curiosity — connecting the realities of today's transport industry with the technologies and ideas that will shape its future.
Lucia Nemček
Co - Founder of LOGIEE & Director of Research and Innovation
Lucia Nemček is an experienced transport policy, European affairs and regulatory expert with a strong background in road transport, international relations and public policy.
She served as Secretary General of ČESMAD Slovakia, where she led the association's secretariat and was closely involved in representing the interests of the Slovak road transport sector. Her work covered European transport legislation, international relations and cooperation with European and international institutions.
Before joining ČESMAD Slovakia, she served as Director General for European Affairs and International Relations at the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic. She also gained diplomatic experience at the Permanent Representation of Slovakia to the European Union in Brussels and participated in activities connected with the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU.
Lucia studied at Comenius University in Bratislava, building an academic foundation that complements her extensive professional experience in European affairs, transport policy and international relations. Her professional development also includes expertise in road transport and sustainability, including ESG and emissions-related topics.
